CNC Swiss Machining of a 316 Stainless Steel Metering Valve Stem

CNC Swiss machining was the ideal choice for machining this part - the fine details and intricate features could be achieved with a single setup. Working with 316 stainless steel, we machined this precision machined component, deburred to remove any stray particulate, then ground it to a smooth 16 RMS finish. Our computer-controlled equipment and expert technicians enabled us to machine this part, which featured dimensions of Ø 0.190 and 5.505" in length, to within precise Ø 0.0485/0.0475 tolerances. At each step of the process, dimensional, visual, and gage inspections verified part geometry was within the customers drawing specifications.
Manufactured in a quantity of 150,000, we shipped the parts according to our customer’s just-in-time delivery requirements.
