The project highlighted here was manufactured from a client's 2D CAD drawing, and was designed for us in a medical application. Composed of 303 stainless steel the finished thumb screw featured dimensions of 0.625" in diameter and 0.880" in length with a tightest tolerance of ±0.0005". This high precision project was completed on our advanced CNC Swiss screw machine. Dimensional integrity was verified through in-process inspections including gage and visual inspections as well as our own high standards for manufacturing quality. This project represents a total run of 50,000 pieces, which were delivered in JIT shipments.
