
CNC Swiss Screw Machining of a Monel Stem

We fabricated this part from Monel R405, the best choice for Swiss screw machining components that would be exposed to salt, seawater, high temperatures, or acidic conditions. Featuring dimensions of Ø 0.4375” and 3.51” in length, we precision machined the component to within Ø 0.3120/0.3105 tolerances, then deburred and ground it to a highly smooth 12 RMS surface finish. Quality assurance by means of dimensional, visual, and gage inspections validated part integrity.
