Featuring dimensions of Ø 6.3 mm and 28.25 mm in length, the combination of computerized equipment and highly skilled machinists enabled us to achieve tight ±0.01 mm tolerances when fabricating the part. Secondary operations consisted of nickel plating to impart a hard wearing, corrosion resistant surface that would guarantee the performance of this aircraft component. Multiple inspection processes at various points in the production cycle ensured the parts met specification demands.
